Check out the azulejos on the exterior of Igreja do Carmo, which are hand-painted blue and white tiles specific to the area. The narrow house between them was built to help preserve the chastity of the nuns and the monks vow of celibacy. The journey time is approximately 1 hour 40 minutes.
