Frances was born November 1, 1945, in North Carolina to the late Jessie Helms Hendley and the late Lois Hendley. She is survived by her husband Jerry, children; Tammy (Michael) Hayman of Badin, NC, Tony Mason, Jr. of Monroe, NC and Katie Morgan of Charlotte, NC; step-children, Ricky and Robert Morgan of Asheboro, NC and Stephen Morgan of "The only things I can't fix are a broken heart and the crack of dawn." Before President Joe Biden entered the White House, he consulted with several prominent historians about how to be a great commander in chief.
